Gestalt Consultation

 Study Group

SECTION A

September 18th, October 30, December 11

10:00am—5:00pm, Bellevue, WA

Gestalt therapy and practices, developed by founders Fritz and Lore Perls in the 1940s, are increasingly of interest to many therapists, counselors and those in the healing arts.  Because Gestalt focuses a great deal on learning to live in the present and in the unknown, this approach is more relevant now than ever in helping us navigate these unpredictable times.

These sessions will cover Gestalt theory and practice, provide an opportunity to explore personal growth, and provide hands-on-experience doing Gestalt therapy with on-the-spot feedback. This class is limited to 8 participants and is open to counselors and therapists who have taken Cyndy’s classes or the equivalent from other Gestalt trainers.

FEE: $300 per SECTION (3 sessions)

18 CEC's per SECTION

(Discounts for AHP members and students)

CYNDY SHELDON, MSW, BCD, who studied with Gestalt founders Fritz Perls MD, PhD, was one of the organizers of the original Gestalt Institute of San Francisco, where she taught for 25 years. In addition she taught for many years in Europe. Inspired to follow her bliss in search of a more spiritual orientation, she worked among the Navajos for 15 years which has deepened her appreciation of Gestalt’s timeless understandings. Now in her 75th year, she is integrating these approaches and is eager to share them with all who are curious and interested. Currently she lives in Bellingham, Washington.
